From the site of author Brian Keene, Dorchester / Leisure publishing is screwing its authors. Hard.
I can only relate that we only read Keene’s point of view, plus his re-tellings from several authors. Even at that, it does appear as if the publisher is making money off of works that they have no rights to, and at the expense of the publishers.
Not cool.
Last week: 8 of Swords
The threat of death and decay hangs over an important document or piece of machinery this week. This necessary tool is out of date, out of steam and practically holding your hard work for ransom.
This week: 2 of Swords
An easy, delicate touch will bring balance to your needs and that failing equipment. Things will even start going well again. It won’t last. That document or device is only having one last laugh at your expense.
Conclusion: The Tower
Time destroys all that man builds. That document or machine you once relied on will finally crumble beneath its own age. Bury it unceremoniously beneath the paper coffee cups and notes in your trash bin then beg the people you answer to for pity. Just remember that when the tower falls, the inhabitants fall with it.

This week: 10 of Wands
Every action you have taken to this point has just become your lifeline. Get away from your overlord. You may have to climb and tug on each of your actions until you bleed, but you can do it.

Once away from subjugation, you may find the road ahead is long and dark. Fear only that it ends in where others might call you their overlord.
