I Can Offer No Show Tonight

Those of you who know me well understand that I have quite a well of experience in the way of real world horrors.  Regrettably, I have spent much of the past week doing battle with the more immediate threats.  So has much of the world at large

This morning involved a hospital.  All prognoses were excellent.  Everyone is healthy.  However, things got to that level.

There is the more serious matter of this week’s scheduled story.  I had drawn the random story concept of a desolate ocean location.   Tsunamis have been causing real-world horror for too many others over the past two days for me to ignore.

The nature of horror fiction is that, just sometimes, bad taste is necessary to tell a story.  It is frequently even desired.  Continuing along this path would cross the line of bad taste.  Rather, my actions would be calloused and destructive.

Yahoo has set up wonderful list of respectable organizations where donations can be made. Please trust these organizations over any emails you may receive or calls for help in social media.  The scammers and spammers were mobilized in very short order, so let’s make sure our good intentions go to the right places.

Next week, look for the same tarot drawing and random elements to go into the theme “Evil Cars.”  Yes, I have done that before but it was chosen at random like every other week.

I thank you for your patience and will try to make this up to you somehow.
