The police will eventually find you eating whatever canned dog food you haven’t covered your body with. Perhaps if the things in the cracks eat the dog food, they will stop nibbling your fingers and toes. That is what you will eventually tell your new friend at the hospital. You are only protecting your fingers and toes. They’re all you have left.
